Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost’s Dinner Was Interrupted By A Clown

Michael Che and Colin Jost, or “Moonlight and La La Land,” as they are sometimes called, do a lot together — they co-host the “Weekend Update” segment of Saturday Night Live. They’re the co-head writers of the show. And together, they court A-list actress Scarlett Johansson.
Technically only Jost — the boyish, endearingly smirky comic who always looks like he’s about to burst into a revue of 40’s-era classics — is in a relationship with the actress. But his co-star Che takes pains to participate in the couple’s activities as well. This weekend, Che sent a clown to the restaurant where the couple was sharing an intimate dinner in honor of Jost’s birthday. Che posted a video including an image of the results of the clown’s handiwork which he received from the chagrined Jost, seen sitting at a candlelit table, sporting a balloon hat. Johansson, for her part, looks thrilled.
Happy birthday, Colin! We hope his and Scarlett’s relationship continues to balloon.
