דער קאָנקורס — די „באָבע־פּרעמיעס‟ — איז דער גרעסטער פֿאַרמעסט פֿון נײַע ייִדישע לידער און כּלי־זמר־קאָמפּאָזיציעס אויף דער וועלט.

די אָרגאַניזירער פֿון די „באָבע־פּרעמיעס‟ — דער גרעסטער קאָנקורס פֿון נײַע ייִדישע לידער און כּלי־זמר־קאָמפּאָזיציעס אויף דער וועלט — האָבן געמאָלדן אַז מע האָט פֿאַרלענגערט דעם טערמין אַרײַנצושיקן די שאַפֿונגען ביזן 31סטן אויגוסט 2021.
די געווינער וועלן באַקומען פּריזן פֿון $200 ביז $1,000.
פֿאַראַיאָרן האָט דער קאָנקורס צוגעצויגן לידער פֿון 136 זינגער און מוזיקער אין 22 לענדער. צווישן די באַלוינטע לידער זענען געווען דזשאַש וואַלעצקיס „דער תּלין“, וועגן דעם מאָרד פֿון דזשאָרדזש פֿלויד, און עפֿים טשאָרניס און סוזאַנאַ גערגוסעס „ס׳איז דרום־אַמעריקע“.
די לידער דאַרפֿן געהערן צו איינער פֿון פֿיר קאַטעגאָריעס:
1) דאָס בעסטע אָריגינעלע ליד אויף ייִדיש
2) דאָס בעסטע ליד אויף ייִדיש וואָס איז צום טייל אָריגינעל (עס קען זײַן אַן אַלט ליד מיט נײַער מוזיק; אַ ייִדיש זינגליד מיט נײַע סטראָפֿעס אויף אַן אַנדער שפּראַך, אָדער אַ נײַער ייִדישער טעקסט וואָס באַגלייט אַלטע מוזיק)
3) די בעסטע אָריגינעלע קלעזמער־קאָמפּאָזיציע
4) דער בעסטער נײַער מוזיק־ווידעאָ (אַלע מינים).
