נאַבערעזשניִע טשעלני, די צווייט גרעסטע שטאָט אין דער טאַטאַרסטאַנער רעפּובליק, איז אַ הצלחהדיקע אינדוסטריעלע שטאָט, וואָס געפֿינט זיך צוויי מיט אַ האַלב שעה פֿון קאַזאַן.
הרבֿ פּאַיִר האָפֿט צו פֿאַרבעסערן די ייִדישע לערן־אַנשטאַלטן; העלפֿן די אָרעמע לײַט און אָרגאַניזירן אַ מנין מיט תּורה־קלאַסן. אַ הויפּטציל איז צוצוציִען די יונגע לײַט און באַקענען זיי מיט די ייִדישע טראַדיציעס.
די ייִדישע קהילה אין נאַבערעזשניע כעלני איז לעצטנס געוואָרן אַ סך מער אַקטיוו ווי פֿריִער, אָרגאַניזירנדיק אַ צאָל אונטערנעמונגען און פֿאַרזאַמלונגען. מע האָט שוין אַפֿילו אָנגעהויבן בויען אַ שיל און אַ ייִדישן קהילה־צענטער.
