GOP: Joe Might Get It
White House press secretary Tony Snow, at today’sbriefing when asked if the president is supporting Joe Lieberman’s GOP challenger: “The President supports the democratic process in the state of Connecticut, and wishes them a successful election in November.”
And, according to this interview with Ken Mehlman, the Republican National Committee is also refraining from endorsing the GOP candidate.
Does all this GOP love help or hurt Lieberman among independents?
