A crazed attacker shouting ant-Semitic expletives punched the manager of a New York Judaica shop and then fled on a Razr scooter, city police said.
The NYPD is investigating the incident at West Side Judaica as a bias crime, officials said.
The 52-year-old victim told investigators that the man entered the shop on the Upper West Side and yelled “F—- the Jews. I’ll kill you. I’m a Muslim,” according to WABC Eyewitness News.
The assailant then punched the manager in the right eye, reports the New York Post. He made his getaway on a scooter.
The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.
