Ivanka Trump has reportedly donated $1,000 to help build a community center on the Brooklyn site where 7 Orthodox children died in a fire started by a hot plate left on during Shabbat.
The soon-to-be first daughter made the donationi Friday to the GoFundMe page for what has been dubbed “The Sassoon 7 Project,” DNAInfo reported.
Organizers hope raise $1 million to build a community facility at 3371 Bedford Ave., where a devastating fire in March 2015 caused by a hot plate killed seven children of the Sassoon family between the ages of 5 and 16.
The facility would include a library and learning centers. So far it has raised more than $125,000.
