Donald Trump ally Anthony Scarmucci said that Jared Kushner is “like an Alexander Hamilton” in a CNN interview on Tuesday, the Hill reported.
Challenged by his interviewer, Chris Cuomo, Scarmucci said that Kushner has “got the trust of the president, he’s very very thoughtful, he knows how to bring people in.”
Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, was an orphan who grew up in poverty and more recently inspired the massive broadway hit of the same name celebrating diversity, inclusion and the power of the immigrant. Jared Kushner is the son of a wealthy New Jersey real estate developer. Forbes estimates the family’s net worth at $1.8 billion.
Scarmucci was passed over for a White House position after he arranged to sell his investment firm to a Chinese company with close ties to the Chinese regime.
