Ladies’ Night
The newly formed Professional Women’s Theatre presents its debut production, “Shir La Maalote — Elevating the World Through Song and Dance.” The group was created to increase opportunities for Torah-observant women entertainers wishing to perform halachically. The production, which is by women and for women only, is made up of dancers and a diverse line-up of singers who perform in several styles, including opera, Broadway, pop, niggunim (wordless melodies) and tefillot (prayer).
PWT was founded by Adena Kozak. Miriam Leha Droz produced the upcoming show.
