Anti-Semitic Scrawl Left on Beverly Hills Package
Beverly Hills police asked the public’s help in identifying people who placed a package covered in anti-Semitic text in front of a Chanel store.
The Los Angeles Times reported Friday that police are searching for seven people believed connected to a package found in front of the Chanel store on Rodeo Drive that was at first believed to contain an explosive.
Surveillance videos showed the group placing the package in front of the store. One young man is shown placing the box in front of the store, and another is shown taking a photograph of it.
Anti-Semitic comments were written on the package, police said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s bomb squad eventually determined that the package did not contain an explosive.
