Wondering How UJC Landed Bill Clinton For 9-11?

That’s right – former President Bill Clinton gives one major speech on the fifth anniversary of 9-11 and it is before United Jewish Communities’ International Lion of Judah Conference.

The match-maker was none other than Susie Stern, chair of the board of directors of the UJA-Federation of New York, and veteran of Bill’s ‘92 campaign as well as Hillary’s 2000 run. Call her a FOBY – Friend of Billary. Our sources say her efforts received a shout-out from Lion of Judah event chair Carol Levin during her welcoming remarks last night … and that Bill spoke for free.

FYI, the Lions of Judah are women who give $5,000+ to the UJC in a given year, and the conference is a veritable constellation of bold-faced names, including John Bolton, Ruth Messinger, et al, this year.
