Laverne Cox appreciates a Nice Jewish Boy.
The actress, who plays one of the most beloved and compelling characters on “Orange is The New Black,” which premiered its second season on Netflix earlier this month (and if you haven’t seen it yet — WHAT are you waiting for?), dished about her type during an appearance on “Chelsea Lately” earlier this week.
Per the New York Post’s Page Six:
“I dated a lot of Jewish men,” the transgender “Orange Is the New Black” actress said on “Chelsea Lately” Wednesday. “I’d like to think of myself as the nation’s premiere black transgender shiksa.”
Cox chalked up her dating preferences to location and noted that there are lots of Jewish men in New York. “They seem to like me and I like them and we get along,” she quipped.
In May, Cox became the first transgender person to be featured on the cover of Time Magazine.
