Dr. Zizmor Sells West Side Pad For $1.45M
Retired subway skin guru Dr. Jonathan Zizmor is selling his West Side apartment for $1.46M — but the apartment could use — you guessed it! — a major facelift.
Zizmor, whose kitschy “Dr. Z” subway ads made him a cult figure in New York, recently sold his Riverdale mansion for way less than the original $4.5M asking price.
Now, he and his wife dumped the relatively modest 2-bedroom pad on W. 86th Street, which real estate brokers admitted needs some TLC, Curbed reported.
“Do you delight in Deco? Is it your desire to design your dream digs?” the listing said. “Well, pinch yourself; opportunity knocks with this picture perfect pad in need of polish and pizzazz.”
Zizmor retired last year. He made headlines in 2013 when he defended a Yeshiva University rabbi accused of molesting male students as his “best teacher.”
