Philip Roth to Retire

Salon is reporting, on the basis of an interview with a French magazine, that Philip Roth is putting down his pen as a novelist.

Roth had hinted as much during at an appearance in 2011 at YIVO, but quickly claimed that it wasn’t true. Now, in fact, it seems that it is.
