Amy Winehouse Parents Slam Hubby for ‘Disrespect’

Amy Winehouse’s parents aren’t too happy with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil’s decision to give an interview at the late singer’s grave at Edgwarebury Lane Cemetery in Edgware, North London.

To make matters worse, he failed to wear a kippah.

“To film beside a grave shows total disrespect. I want nothing to do with this,” Janis Winehouse told the Jewish Chronicle. “He is entitled to visit the grave, he disrespects our religion by not covering his head, and as for an interview in a sacred place that disgusts me”

“He is entitled to grieve but please, not in public three years too late.”

Mitch Winehouse, Amy’s father, took to Twitter in shock:

In the interview, Fielder-Civil admitted he feels guilty about Winehouse’s death: “I feel responsible for her death. There’s lots of reasons why it’s taken me so long to visit. I was scared to come.”

The “Back to Black” singer died of alcohol poisoning in July 2011. She was 27.
