Hating on Glenn Beck, in Meter

Really don’t like Glenn Beck? Write a poem about it.

Such is the conceit of Haik U Glenn Beck, a crowd-sourced collection of hundreds of haikus dedicated to the conspiracy-minded Fox News host.

Ticked off by a recent exhortation by Beck to listeners of his syndicated radio show to “run” from churches that employ the term “social justice” on their Web pages, Jewish Funds for Justice created a site that allows witty Beck-haters a creative outlet for their dislike.

Some of our favorites:

And Jesus said to
All his hungry disciples
“Hands off my fish, chumps”

Hurling expensive
coffee at the expensive
TV screen now, Ahhh.

A message from our editor-in-chief Jodi Rudoren

We're building on 127 years of independent journalism to help you develop deeper connections to what it means to be Jewish today.

With so much at stake for the Jewish people right now — war, rising antisemitism, a high-stakes U.S. presidential election — American Jews depend on the Forward's perspective, integrity and courage.
