Flotilla Fight Moves to Video Game Format
If the media firestorm surrounding Israel’s raid on the Gaza-bound flotilla last week didn’t do it for you, online video game developer Kongregate gives you a chance to get in on the action. Kongregate recently released a four-button, overhead-view action game aptly called “Flotilla Raid.”
Players of the online game have to navigate an unarmed (they’re just delivering humanitarian supplies, right?) vessel 249 miles while dodging fiery missiles from Israeli warships and choppers. If realism is what the developers had in mind, they had the right idea. Without weaponry, it’s too difficult to complete the whole journey. The steady stream of IDF firepower wrecks your ship’s health gauge in a matter of minutes.
The only thing missing from the game is Israeli officials dodging scathing condemnations from world leaders.
