Wonder Woman Is Here To Save the World, and Bigots Aren’t Happy About It

Gal Gadot made headlines on Thursday, when Warner Bros. Pictures released the second trailer for the highly-anticipated “Wonder Woman” movie.
The new footage gave bigoted movie buffs another chance to voice their opposition to an Israeli actress starring in a major Hollywood blockbuster.

Gadot stars as the title character in the film, which is being billed as the first modern superhero movie to be headlined by a female character.
The action-packed first trailer was released in July. The latest preview displays plenty of Gadot’s fighting skills, but also shows off Wonder Woman’s darker side.
“I used to want to save the world,” she says in the opening scene. “This beautiful place. But the closer you get, the more you see the great darkness within. I learned this the hard way a long, long time ago.”
The movie’s release date is set for June 9, 2017. Check out the trailer below
